CompTIA CTT+ recognizes the mastery of core instructor skills, including preparation, presentation, communication, facilitation and evaluation in both a classroom and virtual classroom environment.
Certified instructors are essential for students who want to receive top-notch training, and employers agree that a professional training staff is valuable to the company. Adobe, Dell, Microsoft, Novell and Ricoh recommend that their trainers be CompTIA CTT+ certified. The Training Associates also look for CompTIA CTT+ certification when hiring trainers.

Candidates interested in earning CompTIA CTT+ with the Classroom Trainer designation should take CompTIA CTT+ Essentials and submit a video recording of a classroom training session (CompTIA CTT+ TK0-202).
Individuals that would like to earn CompTIA CTT+ with the Virtual Classroom Trainer designation should take CompTIA CTT+ Essentials and submit a recording of a virtual classroom training session (CompTIA CTT+ TK0-203).
Trainers can be CompTIA CTT+ certified with both designations by taking CompTIA CTT+ Essentials and then completing both CompTIA CTT+ TK0-202 and TK0-203 performance-based exams.
