testpassport something about A+ certification
I have an A+ certification - the problem with it is, everyone thinks they're a PC tech - and can usually get the job done - with help from testpassport.com . May not be done "professionally" but it works and it was cheap - which is what seems like the main thing these days.
The courses Microcomputer Concepts ,Operating Systems ,Local Area Networks ,PC Hardware ,Troubleshooting ,A+ Certification Review will give you a good basis to start into a computer career, but will not provide a great living. Nowhere near that $85,000 - $250,000 quoted... I have a BAS in Computer Networking and work in the 5th largest data center in the country - and didn't start off making anywhere near those figures.... If you have any aptitude in programming or in database management, you'll get a higher salary as those are in demand and pay well. Our techs make around $100,000 yearly - but that's with several years experience and plenty of overtime too.
Remember, when you have a computer job, there are no free days and holidays - processing goes 24/7 so does the job - with seniority comes better hours and days off.
